Our staff is available to serve you. Our office hours are Monday through Wednesday, 9:00am-3:00pm, and Friday, 9:00am-12:00pm.

Roland Weaver - Senior Pastor RW@opendoorhibbing.com   Roland is an ordained minister who began serving   at Open Door Church in 1985. Roland is a native   of Pennsylvania and has been a resident of   Minnesota since 1977. He and his wife, Beulah,

have two married sons, Jeremy and Joshua and are also proud grandparents. Roland was a mason contractor by trade and has led the church through two building projects - the second one nearing completion in the summer of 2008. Roland loves this community and living in the northern part of Minnesota, which affords hunting, fishing and golfing, three of his favorite pastimes. Roland has a passion for seeing people find Christ and succeed in all areas of life.

	Jay Oksanen - Celebrate Recovery Ministry Leader Jay@opendoorhibbing.com Since returning to the Lord in July of 2008, Jay has been very active in Celebrate Recovery. With a life filled with addictions and a failed marriage, Jay is finding victory over his hurts, habits and hang-ups
on the "Road to Recovery". He has lived most of his life in the Iron Range area and currently lives in Hibbing with his two cats. Jay has a daughter, Sammie Jo, who lives with her mother. When not working as a PCA, Jay also can be found playing cards, listening to music, or digging for treasure with his metal detector.

Luke & Sheena Olson - Youth Ministry Directors Youth@opendoorhibbing.com Luke and Sheena Olson are currently involved with the Youth and Children's ministry and have been attending Open Door Church since fall of 2007. They are expecting a third addition to their family in December 2009. Traveling and spending time with their family are two things they enjoy doing most.

	Kris Harris - Children's Ministry Director Kris@opendoorhibbing.com   While new to the position of Children's Ministry   Director, Kris has been a part of Open Door   Church since the fall of 2001. A graduate of   Crown College with a degree in Religious
Education, she has served in churches in Wisconsin, South Dakota, and Minnesota in various educational ministry positions. When not involved at church, she can be found working at her desk at State Farm Insurance in Hibbing, planning practical jokes, gardening, riding her cycle or hibernating in the winter.

Lynn Houle - Pre-School Director   Nursery Leader since September 2004, Lynn   works as a licensed practical nurse and is   married to her husband, Brian, an audio   engineer. They married each other for the   second time in September of 2001.

Both were raised on dairy farms in Hinckley, Minnesota and were high school sweethearts. They married young and had a family right away, but ended up going their separate ways until their reunion nearly 20 years later. Their family includes 8 children (4 girls and 4 boys), a beautiful granddaughter that they enjoy spending time with, and a very spoiled miniature dachshund named Sophie. Lynn loves to sew, quilt, knit and scrapbook. Unfortunately for her crafting, she loves her nursing job at the Duluth Clinic Hibbing. Since she was a young girl Lynn has wanted to nurse others and has been a nurse for 28 years. She also enjoys reading and writing, these as a part of quiet time at the camper on Side Lake, a retreat for her, where summers are way too short.

Carol Wavrin - Director of Discipleship Carol@opendoorhibbing.com Carol has recently taken the position of overseeing the discipleship/small group ministry of Open Door Church. A believer in Christ since September of 1973, God's Word has always been a passion of hers. Not only does she love to study it for

herself but also has a very deep desire to help others learn to study it for themselves. She wants to be part of fulfilling the Great Commission Jesus gave to the Church in Matthew 28:19-20. She and her h usband Dave have been happily married since 1966. They have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. She loves spending time with family and friends, and enjoys reading, scrapbooking, and quiet time by the lake.

	Robin Gladue - Church Administrator Robin@opendoorhibbing.com Robin is new to staff position at Open Door; however she has been affiliated with the church since its beginning. She lives in Hibbing with her Cocker Spaniel, Zippy. Robin has a degree in Psychology and Human Services from Bemidji State University and is a trained Mental
Health Practitioner. She worked for several years with troubled youth and continues to enjoy working with teenagers. She has also attended the Institute of Ministry to receive additional Bible training. Robin loves to serve and encourage others. Robin also enjoys reading, writing short stories and poetry, crocheting and other hand crafts.

Mary Gustafson - Office Administrator Mary is the first person you will often see in the office area at Open Door. She is your office manager. Mary and Mike have been married since 1968. They have one son, Eric who lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado with his wife, Silke and daughters, Sarah and Kylee. Mary likes to travel, especially to warm spots in the winter.

	Beulah Weaver - Operations Director Beulah@opendoorhibbing.com Beulah has been involved in various areas of ministry at Open Door Church since 1985. She is happy to use her organizational skill as Operations Director for the last 15 years. She has been happily married to Roland
Weaver since 1976 and is now enjoying being a Nana. She enjoys scrapbooking, fishing with her husband, Caribou coffee with friends and vacations in southern California.
